A question is get asked DAILY by my clients is how they can get white teeth without having to use toxic teeth whitening strips or gels that damage the enamel and wear away at the gums (which is why you have sore gums after using them).

I am here to tell you that you CAN have white teeth naturally! Below are a few tips I gathered from my holistic dentist and my holistic studies that work AMAZING for myself and my family and leave our teeth feeling fresh but more importantly, healthy and strong.

1. Brush your teeth twice a day with a homemade toothpaste (see recipe below).

2. Floss daily (i use @mymagicmud )

3. Avoid coffee, sodas (especially Pepsi and coke) and other sugary drinks/foods

4. Avoid smoking, all kinds

5. Consume a diet RICH in dark green leafy veggies as well as healthy fats (eggs, grass-fed meats, homemade yogurts), soluble fiber and protein.

6. OIL PULLING. Yes you knew I’d mention this one! Oil pulling twice a week has PROVEN benefits for eliminating plaque-causing bacteria. Take 1/2 tbs coconut oil and 1 drop clove or Peppermint essential oil and swish in mouth for 10 minutes then spit out in the garbage. This helps to whiten teeth SO MUCH by breaking down plaque and killing plaque-forming bacteria.

7. Take calcarea fluorica 6X and calcarea carbonica 6X tissue salts daily for a few months for strong tooth enamel (follow bottle directions/dosage).

8. Take human strain probiotics daily


  • 1/4 cup aluminum free baking soda (I use Bobs Red Mill)
  • A glass container
  • 10 drops peppermint essential oil
  • 10 drops lemon essential oil
  • Optional: 5 drops clove essential oil
  • 8-10 drops liquid stevia (optional but sweetens it a bit)
  • 2-4  tbs of water.

Add all ingredients (except water) to the glass bowl and then add the water, 1 tbs at a time and mix well until a toothpaste consistency forms. Enjoy!
