Paleo Chocolate Tart

I made this grain-free, paleo, raw chocolate tart for my family and it was gone in less than 3 seconds! I threw a bunch of ingredients together for a quick dessert, but it turned out so good, I had to share the recipe. This tart is perfect for all you chocolate lovers!

CRUST INGREDIENTS:
*Roughly measured*

  • 1.5 cup raw walnuts
  • 5 medjool dates pitted
  • 1/2 cup buckwheat flakes (or oats)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 3 tbs coconut oil
  • 2 tbs water

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Blitz dry ingredients together in a processor and blend until a fine crumb forms.
  2. Add wet ingredients and dates to the processor and blend until a sticky ball comes together.
  3. Press the dough into a greased baking dish and place in freezer to set.
  4. If dough is too soft, add more buckwheat or oat flakes.
  5. If it is too dry, add more coconut oil.

FILLING INGREDIENTS: 

  • Hard parts from 2 cans of coconut milk
  • 2 tbs red cocoa powder
  • 1 heaping scoop Ancient Nutrition KETO Cold brew for a richer chocolate taste (optional)
  • 3 scoops Ancient Nutrition Multicollagen
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Liquid stevia or raw honey to taste
  • 4 tbs hemp hearts
  • 2 tbs almond butter

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Blend together and pour over cooled crust.
  2. Freeze for 15 minutes.
  3. ENJOY!
