I made this grain-free, paleo, raw chocolate tart for my family and it was gone in less than 3 seconds! I threw a bunch of ingredients together for a quick dessert, but it turned out so good, I had to share the recipe. This tart is perfect for all you chocolate lovers!
CRUST INGREDIENTS:
*Roughly measured*
- 1.5 cup raw walnuts
- 5 medjool dates pitted
- 1/2 cup buckwheat flakes (or oats)
- Pinch of sea salt
- 3 tbs coconut oil
- 2 tbs water
DIRECTIONS:
- Blitz dry ingredients together in a processor and blend until a fine crumb forms.
- Add wet ingredients and dates to the processor and blend until a sticky ball comes together.
- Press the dough into a greased baking dish and place in freezer to set.
- If dough is too soft, add more buckwheat or oat flakes.
- If it is too dry, add more coconut oil.
FILLING INGREDIENTS:
- Hard parts from 2 cans of coconut milk
- 2 tbs red cocoa powder
- 1 heaping scoop Ancient Nutrition KETO Cold brew for a richer chocolate taste (optional)
- 3 scoops Ancient Nutrition Multicollagen
- Pinch of sea salt
- Liquid stevia or raw honey to taste
- 4 tbs hemp hearts
- 2 tbs almond butter
DIRECTIONS:
- Blend together and pour over cooled crust.
- Freeze for 15 minutes.
